Lifestyle Diseases on the Rise
As society at large continues to become older, less active, more obese, and more exposed to pathogens, our incidence of "lifestyle diseases" has rapidly increased. Lifestyle-related illnesses include cardiovascular disease, diabetes, allergies, tumors, and liver disease, to name a few.

While the incidence of life-threatening contagious diseases has been greatly reduced by Western medicine's advancements, there is a limit to what aggressive Western treatment can do for lifestyle diseases.

Eastern and Western Medicine Collaborate for Medical Advancements
The American Institute of Eastern Medicine believes that the most effective treatment for lifestyle related illnesses includes an attack on pathogenic factors with a simultaneous reinforcement of the body's own disease resistance faculties. AIEM's philosophy is a cohesion of Western technology and Eastern treatment of the underlying constitutional malady.

Dr. Xianen Wang has formulated several proprietary herbal compounds, which have been effectively used to treat allergies, acne, atopic dermatitis and diabetes in China and Japan for years. Thousands of patients have benefited from Dr. Wang's integration of ancient Chinese medical practices and modern Western medicine.
